1. Overview
SeerahQuest is an educational application and website. We aim to collect only the information needed to provide accounts, save progress, operate learning features and protect the service.
2. Information processed
If you create an account, we process the email address, display name and authentication information needed to sign you in. The app may also save lesson progress, quiz results, practice history, battle activity, streaks, hearts, coins and settings associated with your account.
When you use the app without an account, learning progress and settings may be stored locally on your device.
3. Why information is used
- To create and secure your account.
- To save and synchronise your learning journey.
- To operate friend challenges and online learning modes.
- To maintain progress, rewards and testing functionality.
- To investigate abuse, reliability problems or security incidents.
4. Service providers
SeerahQuest uses Supabase for database, authentication and supporting backend services. Information processed through those services is also governed by the provider’s security and privacy practices. A production email provider may process account-confirmation messages after custom SeerahQuest email delivery is enabled.
5. Selling and advertising
SeerahQuest does not sell personal information. The current website does not use behavioural advertising or third-party advertising trackers.
6. Retention and deletion
Account information and synced learning data are kept while the account remains active or while reasonably required to operate and protect the service. Signed-in learners can request account deletion through the app. Some limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations.
7. Children and families
Parents and guardians should supervise account creation and app use by children. The public release will include any additional age, consent and regional disclosures required for its intended audience before launch.
8. Security
We use access controls, authenticated requests and restricted database policies intended to protect account information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so learners should use a unique password and protect access to their email account.
